The Snowcross zones in Avoriaz offer skiers and snowboarders all the thrills of no-holds-barred exploring on safe but untouched slopes. After a big dump of snow, powder-lovers head for Les Crozats, La Frontalière, Les Brochaux or La Marmotte.

At Champéry, a favourite place for powder chasers is Le Cuboré. From the top of the chairlift, all you have to do is choose your route and if the Swiss Wall is an icon among ski aficionados, the side of the run is always a hit thanks to the virgin powder turns on offer.
