We believe that the future of any ski area depends on being able to offer beginners a meaningful product. For a long time now, the Portes du Soleil has taken this principle to heart, and each village- resort has its own dedicated area where beginners can learn to ski.

With more than 1200 instructors, as well as areas for beginners in each of our 12 village-resorts throughout the Portes du Soleil, and dedicated facilities (rope tows, toboggan bumps, mini-routes, colourful runs, little jumps, magic carpet and ski lifts for beginners.

And because there's no magic age to start skiing, the Portes du Soleil has even created a special beginners' ski package: You Can Ski! Aimed at adult beginners, "You Can Ski" is the first all-inclusive deal for beginner skiers.

Taught by a qualified instructor, you'll learn about the pleasure of skiing, with other adult beginners. You'll learn on new slopes exclusively for beginners, maintained and made safe so that you can enjoy your first taste of skiing in total calm.
