Covid 19: The Portes du Soleil are committed to your peace of mind !
In each of our 12 village resorts, our teams are rigorously preparing to welcome you in optimal conditions and in accordance with national guidelines, so that everyone can enjoy their stay in the Portes du Soleil serenely.
The measures implemented to this day:
- Will there be shuttles from French stations to take us to Switzerland?
To date, no shuttle is planned between France and Switzerland.
- Will it be possible to reach Switzerland by French ski lifts?
The ski lifts of the French resorts are closed until further notice as well as the ski area.
- If we cannot use the French ski lifts, is it nevertheless possible to descend from Switzerland to the French sector anyway?
The ski area on the French side will be closed and will not be accessible to skiers. We are awaiting information for use of the area by skitouring.
- What is the opening date of the Swiss Portes du Soleil resorts?
The lifts of the Champéry - Les Crosets - Morgins - Champoussin ski area are partially open from Friday 18th December.

Ski Safe destination
French side: Safeguard
Launched in Avoriaz this summer, the French Portes du Soleil resorts are committed to obtaining, for the winter season, the SafeGuard label issued by Bureau Veritas France. It will ensure that the tourist bodies of each resort comply with the hygiene and prevention protocols of the French government and the WHO. In addition to guaranteeing sanitary protocols, the SafeGuard label also provides training for station personnel.
Swiss side: Clean & Safe
The Swiss resorts in the area guarantee specific protection measures to protect their guests, through the Clean & Safe Switzerland label, based on the rules of hygiene and behavior, as well as on the principles of health and employee protection. by the Federal Office of Public Health and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
A secure journey from A to Z
This winter, the pleasure of skiing, the great outdoors and the great outdoors will remain intact.
For the rest, a few barrier gestures must be respected indoors and on the ski lifts, for everyone's safety.
The practice of sliding sports is an outdoor practice, where the equipment (gloves, ski, poles ...) promotes barrier gestures.
In some public places, the reception capacity may be reduced.
The mask is compulsory from 11 years old.
