Charity torchlight descent - Les p'tits flambeaux

What is Les p'tits flambeaux?
It's a national charity event taking place on Thursday 20th of February 2025. Its aim is to mobilise all French ski resorts around a common goal: to raise funds to enable children who are not lucky enough to be able to go on holiday to discover the French massifs and the benefits of the mountains. The funds raised will be donated to the following 3 associations: "Enfance & Montagne", "Génération Montagne", and "Petits Princes".
Torches will be on sale at the ESF office and at Châtel Tourisme, priced at €10 each.

Programme(to be confirmed):
5.45pm-6.15pm: take the Pierre-Longue chairlift up (bring a valid ski pass).
6.30pm (or as soon as it gets dark): Descent of the "La Belette" green run, with Châtel ESF instructors (good level of skiing recommended).
Throughout the event: musical entertainment and drinks served in front of the Plaine Dranse hors-sac (voluntary donation, with proceeds going to the above associations).

A good level of skiing is recommended for a night descent.
