This easy hike on the heights of the valley of Abondance takes you to the chalets of Mouet. A beautiful panorama on the summits of the valley and the Swiss Alps awaits you!

An easy hike to discover with the family, offering a panoramic view of the whole Abondance valley.
From the Sevan car park (1590 m), the walk begins with a path in the forest towards the Mouët chalet. You follow a long path on the balcony of the valley with a superb panorama on the Mont de Grange, you are on the pedestrian tour of the Portes du Soleil.
You will reach the Chalets du Mouet. In summer, you can take a gourmet break at the Mouet mountain pasture or buy Abondance...An easy hike to discover with the family, offering a panoramic view of the whole Abondance valley.

For the return journey, you will take the direction of Douert, then join the starting point by a pleasant forest path.
From Le Mouet, a variation is possible (red level: +1 h 30): take the direction of Le Mouet/le Petit Châtel which will lead you to Barbossine and then to the Col du Saix. Nice view on Châtel and La Chapelle.

- Access from the Sevan car park (end of the Rys paved road) with free parking or by the La Panthiaz gondola (depending on opening days and times).
