Introduction to driving a dog sled

Accompanied, Equipment provided, Winter sports, Sled dogs in La Chapelle-d'Abondance

  • Supervised by a qualified musher, you learn to drive a sled pulled by 3 or 4 dogs. After attending the theoretical explanations, you become a pilot with:
    - 1/2h theory, harnessing of dogs
    - 1/2h driving

  • Accessible to adults in good physical condition and children from 8 years old. This activity is not accessible to pregnant women.
    Possibility to drive with the musher for children under 8 years old.
