Situated high (1340m), above the village, this chalet faces South West and has breathtaking views through its large picture windows of Marcelly, Mont Chery and Roc D'Enfer. Perfect location winter or summer for families and friends - a real sun trap on the terraces and balconies. Chalet Champ de la Lune is a stylish wood and stone built ski chalet positioned off the desirable Chavannes Road, it sleeps 8 people in total comfort.

Getting to / from the village and the slopes
Accessing the slopes could not be easier, a very short walk up the Chavanne road takes you to Les Folliets lift which gives you immediate access to the Morzine/Les Gets ski area and the Pleney lift system for Avoriaz. Alternatively, at the end of the drive turn left, then turn second right along a dead end road and you have direct access to the Bruyere Piste (blue run) of the Les Gets ski area - less than 4 minutes. Ski back to the chalet easily at the end of the day without the need of the lift system from the top of Folliets lift, after a quick vin chaud in Le Vaffieu.

To access the village using the free bus, the bus stop is less than 2 minutes from the door, turn right at the end of the drive, and walk towards Chalet Hastings car park and the bus stop is at the junction with the Chemin de Nabor road. Every 15 minutes in the winter until 11pm and every 30 minutes in the summer until 6.30pm.

In the summer, just up the road, the the chalet is very close to the renowned Les Gets Golf course. In the winter cosy up on the covered main balcony and watch the sunset or the Les Gets fireworks from the adirondack chairs.

Outside Garden and Terraces
In the summer let the outside in as the large sliding doors seamlessly connect the inside with the large outdoor terrace. Unusually, this chalet has a large private garden to the rear, with shaded outdoor seating, a great place for children to play and adults to relax . BBQ and outdoor table with chairs that comfortably seats 8.

Tastefully renovated in 2020 using local, natural materials the chalet now provides spacious, comfortable and relaxing accommodation for 8 people with a scandi feel. The roomy first floor provides open plan kitchen/dining and living space..

Champ de la Lune has all the modern requirements - underfloor heating, separate utility in the basement with washer and dryer, entrance hallway with outdoor coat/shoe rack, and a wood stove being installed in the corner of the lounge by the picture window and next to the TV for winter 2021.

Bedrooms
There are two new double bedrooms en suite in the basement and a further two bedrooms on the top floor sharing a covered balcony. Each bedroom boasts its own personal shower room or en suite. See below for more details about the bedrooms and bathrooms..

Kitchen and Dining
The new, sleek, well equipped kitchen is a dream to cook in with its central island, large black retro american fridge freezer and tassimo coffee machine. Plenty of storage and space at and around the dining table for 8 people to gather and entertain.

Parking
If you are driving, a large garage gives parking for 1 car and / or bikes - outside there is space on the drive for a 2 further cars. The garage duals as the ski/boot room with racks and a place for bikes. In the garage there is also a tap with hosepipes for cleaning bikes etc..
