50th Giron des Musiques de la Vallée d'Illiez

For the 50th Giron des Musiques de la Vallée d'Illiez, the musicians of the Echo de la Vallée de Val-d'Illiez will be delighted to welcome you warmly and present the fruits of this musical season under the baton of their director Carole Rudaz-Favre.

The Giron des Fanfares de la Vallée d'Illiez is an association of brass bands from Troistorrents, Morgins, Val d'Illiez and Champéry. This magnificent annual musical gathering is organized in turn by one of the region's brass bands. A large audience is expected to share this festive day of music and friendship. It will also be an opportunity to discover the young talents of our brass bands. Come and cheer them on at their concert, scheduled to open the day!

Saturday evening opens with music from the Fanfare des Jeunes de la Vallée and Hélvétia d'Isérables, followed by Dr. Edigenoss. This virtuoso multi-instrumentalist skilfully blends yodelling, accordion, double bass, alphorn, drums and guitar to create a unique fusion of traditional and urban Switzerland. He offers unforgettable performances for the eyes and ears.

On Sunday, it's time for the traditional Giron Day, when the Valley's brass bands come together for a great day of friendship and music.

The Organizing Committee and members work with heart and enthusiasm to offer you two unforgettable days, with the Giron des Musiques de la Vallée d'Illiez banner as the backdrop.
