Situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, Avoriaz is a completely pedestrianised resort covered in snow. In the snow-covered streets, skiers mingle with pedestrians and horse-drawn sleighs.
Perched at an altitude of 1,800 metres, it enjoys natural, year-round snow cover throughout the winter season. The resort boasts 34 ski lifts and 53 runs to suit all ability levels. There are also fun zones, snowparks and snowcross courses to delight skiers. Thanks to its central location, you can explore the Portes du Soleil ski area at your leisure, reaching Switzerland, Châtel or Morzine in just a few lift rides.
