My Club Portes du Soleil

My Club Portes du Soleil is the Portes du Soleil loyalty scheme.
It allows me to collect ‘Soleils’ when I buy ski passes.
I can then convert these Soleils into free Portes du Soleil ski passes.

Once I’ve joined My Club Portes du Soleil and registered my contactless cards to my account, I earn Soleils every time I buy a ski pass at the standard price.

Once I’ve reached 200 Soleils in winter: I’ll earn a Portes du Soleil day ski pass!

When I’ve collected 80 Soleils in summer: I’ll get a Portes du Soleil mountain bike day pass!

My membership is completely free and there is no obligation to buy anything.

If I already have a customer account

• I log in to my account
• I click on the ‘Join My Club Portes du Soleil’ button in my customer area

If I don’t have a customer account

• I go to my resort’s online ski pass sales website or the Portes du Soleil website
• I click on the logo or the ‘My Club Portes du Soleil’ section
• I go to the membership page and fill in the form
• I register my contactless cards (this can be done at a later date)
• Please note: make sure you complete your membership registration before making any purchases.

To ensure my Soleils are credited, I need to register my hands-free card numbers on my My Club Portes du Soleil account:

• I log in to my account,
• I click on ‘My cards’ then ‘Add’ and register my contactless card numbers

Once my cards are registered, all Soleils earned from my online or in-store purchases will be automatically credited to my account.

Please note: for your first purchase, you have 15 days from the date of purchase – whether in-store or online – to have your Soleils credited to your account. After this period, any Soleils earned will be permanently lost.

My number is printed on the front of my hands-free card.

Please note:

• There are no spaces in my hands-free card number
• I must enter the hyphens
• My hands-free card number must not contain the letter O, only the number 0
• If my plan has two numbers, one above the other, you must enter the first one (the one not in the white box)
• Do not enter WTP

Online:

• To earn 1 sun -> I must spend €6.90 / CHF 7.14
• To get 200 suns -> I need to spend €1,380 / CHF 1,428

The passes that allow me to collect Soleils are:

• Individual 5-hour resort or Portes du Soleil passes sold at the public price
• Individual passes / group passes valid for 1 to 15 days at the resort or in the Portes du Soleil area, sold at the standard retail price
• Portes du Soleil Family Passes

The following are not included: pedestrian passes, all promotional rates, group rates, association rates, special rates, and season or half-season passes.

Please note: when making your first purchase, you have 15 days from the date of buying your ski pass to credit your Soleils. After this period, any Soleils earned will be permanently lost.

To find out how many Soleils I’ve earned, I simply log in to my customer account on my ski resort’s website and the information is immediately available.

However, I cannot access this information at the ski lift ticket offices.

My Soleils points are linked to my account, not to my contactless card. If I lose it, or if the number on it becomes illegible, my Soleils points will still be recorded on my account and I’ll retain my loyalty benefits.

I’ll receive a new contactless card the next time I purchase a pay-as-you-go top-up online or at the till.

Please note: I mustn’t forget to register the new card number on my account to benefit from my new Soleils.

My Soleils are credited to my My Club Portes du Soleil account as soon as I purchase my ski passes . However, I will only be able to use them the day after I have used the relevant ski pass(es).

For example: on 1 October 2022, I buy a 6-day adult Portes du Soleil ski pass online, valid from 19 to 24 February 2023. My 61 Soleils appear in my account immediately on 1 October 2022, but I won’t be able to use them until 25 February 2023.

I must have reached the threshold of 200 Soleils to be able to order one free Portes du Soleil day ski pass in winter.
I must have reached the threshold of 80 Soleils to be able to book one free Portes du Soleil mountain bike day pass in summer.

I can only claim my free pass online via my customer account:

1. I log in to my account on my resort’s online shop
2. I proceed as normal to order a Portes du Soleil day pass
3. I place my ski pass order as usual
4. In my basket, when viewing my order summary, if I have enough Soleils in my balance, I’m offered the option to use 1 loyalty day
5. I click ‘yes’ and confirm
6. I proceed to payment as usual
7. I get a free ski pass

When I reach the 200 Suns threshold, I must use them within 3 years of the current season.

For example: If I have 200 or more Suns on 13 March 2020, I must use them by the end of the 2022–2023 winter season at the latest.

If I have fewer than 200 Suns, my Suns are carried over for 3 years until I reach the 200-Sun threshold.

If my account remains inactive for three years (no pass purchases or use of my Suns), it will be automatically deleted and the Suns credited to the account will be permanently lost.

Once I have reached the 200 Suns threshold, I can choose not to use my Suns to accumulate more Suns and instead benefit from several packages at the same time, within the validity period of my Suns.

The My Club Portes du Soleil scheme is simpler and more flexible than the old bonus points scheme.

It allows you to collect Soleils on all your purchases, whether made online or at the till.

It also allows me to accumulate Soleils across several contactless cards (up to a maximum of 7).

The old system didn’t allow this, and there were times when I didn’t accumulate enough points to benefit from a loyalty reward.

My Club Portes du Soleil also lets me check my points balance whenever and wherever I want, directly from my account.

Finally, my ‘Soleils’ are linked to my account rather than to my contactless card. If I lose the card, or if the number on it becomes illegible, I still keep my ‘Soleils’.
