Traditions and folklore, Traditional festival in Morgins

  • In Morgins, the Swiss national holiday is celebrated the day before with an exciting program of music and art!

  • Folk concerts, shows, children's entertainment, not forgetting the dance party with the group Kick Back, famous for setting the dance floor alight on December 31st in Champéry with their rock covers and other timeless hits!

    Once again, a rich program for all tastes will be on offer as part of the Fête Nationale Vigil in Morgins on July 31!

    * 1:00 pm > 3:00 pm: Morginois Challenge - 3:00 pm > 6:00 pm: Opening of the village with a Carillon demonstration, face painting, wooden games, balloon trainer and bouncy castle. - 4:00 pm: Otto Il Bassotto children's show - 5:00 pm: Morginois Challenge prize-giving ceremony - 5.15pm > 7.15pm: Musical entertainment (yodelling, accordion, alphorn, bell ringers) and flag thrower 7.30pm: Official speeches by Mrs Corinne Cipolla (President of the Commune of Troistorrents) and Mr Vincent Claivaz (President of the Foire du Valais), followed by the National Anthem by the Fanfare l'Helvétienne de Morgins. - 8:15 pm > 9:30 pm: Musical entertainment (yodelling, accordion, alphorn, bell ringers) and flag thrower - 9:30pm: Lantern procession - 10:00 pm: Fire show by Compagnie Les Pi-Romands and Bonfire on the Place du 6 août (offered by the Bourgeoisie de Troistorrents) - 22h30 > 01h00: Dance party with Kick Back
