The Children's Odyssey is a race entirely dedicated to children, who will be racing under the same conditions as the mushers taking part in La Grande Odyssée VVF: the same infrastructures, the same start and finish sites, and plenty of spectators.

Eighteen young mushers, previously selected and trained by professional mushers, will take part in the Odyssey with 3-dog teams over 4 km, on the track that will be used a few hours later by the world's elite mushers in La Grande Odyssée VVF.
2pm: Children's Odyssey with Crédit Mutuel
3pm: Children's Odyssey podium with Crédit Mutuel
Ahead of the race, apprentice mushers are given a day's training in mushing, one week before the race, by a professional musher.
