  • A fairly challenging route for experienced mountain bikers, with plenty of views over the village of Châtel, the Vallée d'Abondance and neighbouring Switzerland.

  • The starting point is at Le Tenne, at the end of the Petit-Châtel road.
    The route begins with a climb up to the Chalet du Mouet, which offers panoramic views of Châtel and the peaks of neighbouring Switzerland.
    Don't hesitate to stop for a coffee break!

    The route then climbs steadily up to the Swiss mountain pasture of Onnaz. The Morclan loop ends with a return to the Super-Châtel sector and the descent to the village via Lac de Conche.
