From Grand Paradis, take the pedestrian path past Les Clous, along the river through the Champ de Barme and up the vertiginous trail called La Braye. It is a steep walk up, but the changing landscapes and breathtaking views are well worth the effort. Once on the plateau, walkers can admire a multitude of alpine flowers and the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Dents du Midi and the Dents Blanches mountains, soaring above the sunny valley. From Barme, walkers can continue up a trail to the place called Sous la Dent, which offers a lovely view over Champéry Village far below.
Good to know; two quaint mountain huts offer delicious local specialties to refresh and revitalize the intrepid hiker and cosy lodgings for overnight stays.
