  • The +Art association invites you to a unique festive and cultural event in the heart of the Val d'Illiez, to discover and celebrate the richness of Argentine culture.

  • For the curious, families, art and culture lovers, from 1pm, a festive welcome awaits you in a convivial atmosphere: homemade empanadas, pizza and salad (registration required), cold drinks, relaxation area and giant games. A discovery area will allow you to immerse yourself in the richness of regional Argentinean dances and learn more about the activities of the +Art association.

A discovery area will allow you to immerse yourself in the richness of regional Argentinean dances and learn more about the activities of the +Art association.

    - A Canadian table will be open during the milonga: everyone is invited to bring a culinary specialty to share, to nourish conviviality as much as dance.
    - Meals on the premises (pizza, empanadas and salad on registration 20.- per adult and 13.- per child)

    - This event is in line with the objectives of the +Art association, which promotes Argentine culture through dance, visual arts and human relations.
    - Cancelled in case of bad weather
    - It's not possible to park next to the chalet. There are parking lots in the village center next to the school (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9nc8vDxyThogvvoj9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy) and below the school. From there, it's a 5-minute walk downhill to the +Art chalet. There will be signs and we'll be happy to e-mail you a description and map.

    * <strong>Throughout the afternoon, enjoy: </strong> > an exhibition of paintings, > a participatory painting workshop open to all, > a mini-documentary on Argentinian regional dances, > a quiz-competition on Argentinian culture, > at 2:00 pm, a folk dance workshop open to all, > at 3:45pm, a folk dance demonstration by Cali & Maxi, > at 4:00 pm, traditional storytelling in the shade behind the chalet, > at 4.30pm, a gourmet maté break, followed by an introduction to bombo (folk drum) and a discussion of traditions, > at 5:00 pm, a tango demonstration by Cali & Maxi. A great opportunity to experience Argentina in a fun, artistic and accessible way, even if you don't know it yet! <strong>For dance enthusiasts: </strong> > From 2:00 pm, get into the swing of things with an Argentine folk dance workshop, open to all levels.Then, from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm, make way for the milonga with DJ Yves!Come and dance in a warm, authentic atmosphere, on a dance floor with a breathtaking view of the Valais mountains.
