  • Founded in the 12th century by canons and occupied by Cistercian monks from the 17th century, the Abbey of Abondance was abolished in 1761. It reveals the power of a gothic mountain architecture and conceals fabulous artistic treasures.

    As you enter the abbey church, with its Gothic mountain architecture, you'll marvel at the 19th-century trompe-l'œil decorations and rich furnishings.

    A bus park is available at the entrance to the village.

    Groups welcome all year round by prior arrangement.
    The site is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility.
