Climbing site - La Solitude

  • At the end of the afternoon, when it is flooded with sunlight, the Solitude wall, clearly visible from the road leading to Abondance, is striking. The recent route of "La Marmotte", which exploits the central yellow pillar, is worth discovering.

  • A modern route, but one that's still typical of adventure terrain. The route starts quietly with an easy, surprisingly clean ramp. Generally speaking, the route logically follows the weaknesses of the rock. The yellow wall in the central part of the route is always dry and protected from rain until R6. A long, beautiful route, with a great atmosphere in steep pitches, in pretty yellow rock, all within easy reach of the road: a must-do. Take small and medium friends (up to no. 3); in summer,...
