Each team then embarks on its quest: to help a stonemason determine the most suitable material for creating a fountain for the cloister. The rock must have the right properties (cold resistance, waterproofing, etc.), fit in with the existing building and be a local resource. At the end of the activity, all the teams will be brought together to discuss their discoveries and review the different materials encountered (samples available).
