Kids Club
Skiing, Downhill ski piste
in Champéry
-
On the gentle slopes just behind the Palladium, the Kids Club welcomes the littlest skiers, ages 3 to 7, for kid-friendly lessons with qualified ski instructors.

From the earliest days of its founding, one of the primary missions of the ESS is to emphasize the importance of security; in order to ski well, it is vital to understand one's limits and capacities and to develop the right reflexes. This should start from the moment you put on your first pair of skis.

This should start from the moment you put on your first pair of skis.
The ESS Kids Club was established to serve this very purpose; a safe, kids-only, kid-friendly space, decorated with jolly animal characters on hoops and tunnels that little skiers can use to navigate in around and through as they learn the rudiments of skiing on a gentle slope. With help from Snowli and his animal friends, children learn to play and move on the snow while using their imaginations, so that learning feels like play and comes just as naturally.
Advice to parents:
You can help your child feel good about his or her first ski lessons!
1. Talk to your child about going to Kids' Club; get them excited about skiing.
2. Dress your child warmly: children need dry mittens and shoes, good sunglasses and suncream. Make sure they have a snack and some tissues.
3. Each child must wear a card with his or her name, an address in Champéry, the parents' mobile number(s) and the language he or she speaks. These cards are available from the Ski School office.
4. Make sure you drop off and pick up your child on time! Rushing can make children anxious.
