The 2nd and 3rd stages of the 19th edition of La Grande Odyssée, initially planned in La Chapelle d'Abondance and Bernex, will take place in Châtel.

The Grande Odyssée village will welcome you in La Chapelle d'Abondance (Braitaz car park, near the Panthiaz cable car) from 10am to 5pm on both days ! You will find there the preparation of the mushers as well as all the festive animation of the event!
The race will take place in Châtel, at Pré-la-joux.
The course (8km - positive difference in altitude: 460m):
Starting from Pré la Joux, the carriages will go up to Plaine Dranse, make a loop in the direction of Les Queysets and then...The Grande Odyssée village will welcome you in La Chapelle d'Abondance (Braitaz car park, near the Panthiaz cable car) from 10am to 5pm on both days ! You will find there the preparation of the mushers as well as all the festive animation of the event!
The race will take place in Châtel, at Pré-la-joux.
The course (8km - positive difference in altitude: 460m):
Starting from Pré la Joux, the carriages will go up to Plaine Dranse, make a loop in the direction of Les Queysets and then go back down to Pré la Joux.

The departures will take place at 6pm and the arrivals are planned between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
The mushers will be present in the Pré la Joux car park from 3.30 pm onwards, so don't hesitate to come and pay them a visit.
A paying refreshment bar (mulled wine and hot chocolate, white and red wine, soft drinks) will be open to all from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
The evenings are going to be lively!
