Take the They Valley road, then after the ranch, at the arch of the Planetary Trail, turn right towards the Sports Centre.
Before the ski lift, take the unmarked path on the left which crosses the middle of the Géant drag lift. Do not take the road to Fécon, but go behind the campsite and take the wide, signposted path leading to Lac de Morgins, a biotope listed in the federal inventory of amphibian breeding sites.

At the border, at the Pas de Morgins, cross the road and follow the French signs for "Sur le Bord" (without passing through Lac de Vonnes). The path is steep but the view over the Vallée d'Abondance is magnificent. Continue as far as Lac de la Mouille, set in a relaxing natural setting.
Take the path that climbs to the level of the Gabelou chairlift and then the steep path towards Sur le Bord. From here, the view of the Abondance Valley is simply magnificent. Continue to the Lac de la Mouille.
Pass near the top of the Super-Châtel cable car and climb to Lac de Conche, again on Swiss territory and pass the Conche alpine farm.
If you wish to shorten the hike, you can head directly to Chalet Neuf.
If you want to see the 5th lake, at the Pré de la Vieille, take the road on the left to Chermeu d'En Bas and then on the right to the small lake. Go up through the fields to the Buvette de Chalet Neuf.
Continue climbing to the Col Portes de Culet (1788m), the highest point of your walk, with a beautiful view of the Dents du Midi. Descend to Morgins first on the grassy path and then, to finish, on the road to Sépaz.
Variation:
It is possible to start the hike at the Lac de Morgins. In this case, when you come down from the Col Portes de Culet, you can take the direction of the restaurant 'Refuge du Corbeau' at the crossroads of the Culet ski lifts and go down via Les Têtes to the Lac de Morgins.
Don't forget your identity card/passport in case you get stopped at the border.
