Swiss Orienteering Week (SOW) 2026 Portes du Soleil

The event will take place in both Morgins and Châtel, between Switzerland and France, straddling the border. Over the course of a week, thousands of racers from all over Europe and beyond will experience a unique cross-border adventure. The Portes du Soleil may have no borders, but neither do orienteers! This dimension will be the symbol of the event, which is one of the biggest orienteering competitions in the world.

The events will take place in grandiose Alpine landscapes: forests, mountain pastures, panoramic views of the peaks. Even without running, the setting alone is worth the trip.

Even without taking part in the race, the region offers a multitude of activities: hiking, mountain biking, relaxing in the mountains, gastronomic discoveries... The SOW 2026 is the ideal opportunity to combine sport and a stay in the heart of nature.
