All afternoon at the museum:
- musical entertainment
- Refreshments: Christmas beer, mulled wine, scented cakes, at the Museum Cabaret.
- Christmas-themed shop, think of your gifts while supporting the AMMG.
- Exhibition: "The game and Mechanical Music".

The Museum Celebrates Christmas

‘Immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas while celebrating culture and heritage.’
A magical afternoon with sparkling and poetic entertainment.
You will experience unique and festive moments that will make the eyes sparkle and enchant
the ears of children and parents alike, thanks to the Museum's instruments, the old
carousel and Mrs. Christmas.
3:00 p.m.: Museum opens, free admission all afternoon.
Demonstrations, games, etc.
3:30 p.m.: Opening of the exhibition "Mechanical Music and
Play," Imperial Gallery.
4:00 pm: Launch of the winter season of the wooden carousel,
part of the Museum's collection. The first
rides will be offered to children to the sound of the Limonaire organ.
4:30 pm: ‘Game lottery’ at the carousel, hosted by Mrs. Claus.
5:00 p.m.: Off to Place Limonaire. Lantern parade in the Old Village street,
behind Mrs. Claus and mechanical musical instruments.
5:20 p.m.: Presentation of the first comic book on Mechanical Music, from its conception
to its publication, ‘Pour une Ballade mécanique aux Gets’ (For a Mechanical Ballad in Les Gets), Galerie Impériale.
SIGNING SESSION by FELIX MEYNET, author of the book.
5.30pm: Entertainment in the museum with ‘MOTHER CHRISTMAS’, who will enchant the Guinguette and the
Cabaret with her Christmas songs and stories...
6.30pm: Fireworks display accompanied by the Fanfare Limonaire brass band, Place Limonaire
