We’re off to meet our mogul skiers from the Châtel resort. The legendary Ben Cavet, with an impressive track record, as well as his successors Roman Rannou and Lucas Magnin, 2 young skiers with extraordinary talent. For this episode, we took to the resort’s natural mogul spots, including the “Rhododendrons” and “Renards” black runs.

    Narrow skis, concrete knees and acrobatic skills. Our mogul skiers are aces on the black runs. The principle is simple, doing it is more difficult: get down a bumpy run with 2 jumps as quickly as possible. In the Portes du Soleil resort of Châtel, there’s even a slope specially designed for mogul skiing!

    In the resort of Châtel, we met up with the Portes du Soleil mogul skiers. Ben Cavet, Châtel ambassador and mogul skiing prodigy, with his impressive track record in the discipline, as well as Roman Rannou and Lucas Magnin, 2 young successors to the local star and members of the Châtel ski club.
