STAGE 14

The Profile

The 14th stage of the Tour de France between Annemasse and Morzine promises to be incredible.
This alpine and all-Haut-Savoyard stage features several famous passes feared by the riders of the Grande Boucle: the Col de la Ramaz and the Col de Joux Plane. To overcome these difficulties and hope to win, the riders will have to show great endurance and excellent technique on the climbs and descents.

The start of this stage is given in Annemasse, a town located in the Haute-Savoie department. The riders then pass through several mountain towns and villages before arriving in Morzine, a renowned ski resort.

The Col de la Ramaz is one of the highlights of this stage, with a steep climb and spectacular scenery. The Col de Joux Plane is also feared by the riders because of its steep slopes and difficult technical descent.

This stage of the Tour de France will be decisive for leaders aiming for overall victory. They will have to be ready to attack or defend their position, while the other riders will try to get noticed and take all the risks to take a prestigious stage victory.

… Ski-lift!

A promise made possible thanks to the work of all the players involved, the Portes du Soleil is in a position to provide a solution to relieve congestion in the resorts and to decarbonise transport. The public will be able to take advantage of privileged access by soft mobility to experience the Tour de France. To mark the occasion, the resort is putting in place a “ski lift” plan to get to the event’s crossing points, the Col de Joux Plane and the finish in Morzine.
