STAGE 15
The Profile
On Sunday, July 16, don’t miss this mountain stage that promises to be Dantean.
This will be the second alpine stage of the event, with three huge climbs planned over the 180km between the ski resorts of Les Gets and Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc.
During this stage, the riders will climb the Col de la Forclaz de Montmin (1,157 meters above sea level, 7.2 kilometers, 7.3% ) as an outside work.
The main course will consist of three consecutive passes: Col de la Croix Fry (11.3 kilometers, 7.3%), Pass Louange and Col Aravis.
Have you got a strong stomach? We hope so because at this point in the race, it will be time to tackle dessert! The riders will have to face the côte des Amerands (2.7 km, 11.1%), just after Domancy, and finish in Saint-Gervais at altitude: 1,372 meters above sea level, 7.2 km, 7.7%.
A superb program and a finish at altitude that should make this stage one of the great moments of this 2023 edition of the Tour de France
