In Châtel there’s something for every taste and level! Accompanied or not by an instructor, on the resort’s 90km of marked mountain bike trails, from mountain bike touring to the Bike Park at Pré-la-Joux, Châtel offers mountain bike itineraries for everyone.

Every season, new activities and events are added to the existing ones, to broaden the range of mountain biking on offer.

With the Portes du Soleil ski pass, you can move from one resort to another, just like in winter on skis!

Châtel…

Les Portes Du Soleil

For mountain bikers, there’s an area in the Pré-la-Joux/Plaine Dranse sector, accessible by the Pierre-Longue and/or Rochassons chairlifts. It offers 20 downhill mountain bike trails of all levels of difficulty, as well as several fun areas. There’s a kid’s shore, two slopestyles (one of them “pro”) and 1 pump track.
Châtel has its own washing point at Pré-la-Joux.
The 20 trails are maintained and secured by a team of 9 “Bike Patrol” (opening and closing the trails, securing the area, first aid and advice of all kinds!)
