  • The Balade Gourmande de Région Dents du Midi, a much-appreciated event! Epicureans, pedal effortlessly with your e-bike on our gourmet autumn itinerary!

  • Set against a backdrop of Alpine scenery and the Dents du Midi, this 29-kilometer trail, accessible to all levels, will introduce you to local gastronomy in autumnal colors. On the menu are a number of tasty stops to tantalize your taste buds, washed down with excellent Valais wines...or syrup for the younger ones!

    This culinary experience is available exclusively on electric mountain bikes, or on mountain bikes for the more athletic.

    In collaboration with local sports stores, we offer preferential rates for e-bike hire, if required. Please note that the number of bikes available for hire is limited. Bikes are rented when you book online.

    Gourmet stops :
    - Hôtel des Portes du Soleil: breakfast (bread, croissant, homemade jam, coffee/tea and orange juice)
    - Chez Yoyo & Jibi: seasonal vegetable soup
    - Chez Gaby 1670: Chestnut and boletus flan, cream of butternut
    chestnut crumble and glass of white wine
    - Buvette de Savolaire: a magnificent crust with the flavours of autumn
    - Restaurant Les Bochasses: alpine cheese platter
    - Restaurant le Virage: wood berry verrine, chocolate profiterole and an autumnal savoury, accompanied by apple juice & followed by a small coffee and digestif
    - A welcome drink at the Fête de la Brisolée at Couvert de Frâchette de Champoussin

    Equipment required:
    > Mountain bike helmet (mandatory)
    > Sports shoes
    > Sunglasses and sun cream
    > Water bottle
    > Waterproof windbreaker (in case of bad weather)

    /!\ E-bike riding is open to young people aged 14 and over with a moped license, or 16 and over.

    Please note:
    - Places are limited
    - The number of e-bikes available for hire, by size, will be posted online for booking purposes, depending on the availability of specialist stores.
    - We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to collect your e-bike and prepare for the ride.

    Practical info:
    - e-bike rental includes bike helmets
    - Participants renting bikes must have third-party insurance to cover damage to equipment.
    - Reservations can only be made online or at the Dents du Midi Regional Tourist Offices.

    For e-bikes the minimum age is 14 years.
    Very young children can accompany their parents in a child seat.
    No minimum age for muscle bikes
