Discovery of the resort by sleighs

in Avoriaz

  • Guided sleigh tours of Avoriaz. The drivers and their horses are waiting for you at the entrance to the resort, in the resort centre (near the carousel), or at Place Jean Vuarnet. Several routes are available, with different durations.

  • For the good progress of the transport, the walks are not recommended on Saturdays. 2 to 4 people can participate in the carriage tours.

    Avoid taking a sleigh trip on Saturdays in order to keep smooth runs.

  • Information Notice: We inform our visitors that the horse-drawn sleigh service in the resort will end on 7 April 2026. As part of a complete renovation project of the stables, they will be demolished starting 13 April 2026. The coachmen will therefore have to vacate the premises before this date, which results in the early end of their activity. To ensure continuity of transport within the resort, the resort snowcat transport service will remain in operation until the end of the season and will replace the sleigh service.
