Foilleuse via La Chaux

Short option : Morgins - Madzé - La Chaux - Foilleuse Télécabine (Descent by cable car)
Long variant : Morgins - Madzé - La Chaux - Foilleuse Télécabine - Morgins

From the bottom of the Morgins gondola lift, head up along the Kuhstall chalet and behind it, taking the wide path which climbs slightly on your left.

A little further on, leave the wide path and turn right towards Madzé along a steep path in the forest. At the cross in the clearing, continue climbing straight ahead. In Madzé, turn right and follow the small path marked "raccourci Foilleuse" through the first part of the forest. At the chalet, leave the marked footpath and go down the asphalted road towards the La Chaux chairlift to reach the Gîte d'Alpage La Chaux.

Afterwards, head back to the left of the gîte for a few meters on the road and take the small path in the grass that goes up to the top of the Foilleuse chairlift where you can enjoy a quick breather on the terrace of the Restaurant Là-Ò.

To hike back down on foot, go to the right of the arrival of the gondola lift. We recommend you not take the first path for Morgins; this path heads down under the chairlift and crosses the bike tracks. Instead, continue heading gently downhill along the ridge. The path will go through the forest and head back to Morgins via the route you took to Madzé.

then, at your choice for the descent:
- on foot: Foilleuse - Morgins: 1 hour (descent)
