The biggest ski race for children and teens ages 8 to 16 offers all winter sports fans an unforgettable experience both on and off the slopes! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert skier, there’s something for everyone at the Grand Prix Migros. In addition to the chance to get your first taste of racing on the slopes or even try to set the fastest time, the supporting program also offers a wealth of fantastic activities. True to the motto “more than just a ski race,” participants will have access to numerous off-piste activities. Whether it’s competitions or fun games, the Grand Prix Migros Village awaits you.

The resort of Les Crosets, located in the Portes du Soleil ski area, will host the final race of the 2027 Grand Prix Migros season on March 27, during which the best up-and-coming athletes will have the chance to qualify for the finals in early April in Grindelwald.

What’s more, the resort undoubtedly deserves the description “small but mighty”: while it has only 60 permanent residents, it is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area. This ski area spans two countries—France and Switzerland—and features a total of 195 ski lifts.

Finally, Les Crosets has also hosted renowned participants in previous Grand Prix Migros events. Mélanie Meillard, in particular, qualified for the grand final during the 2010 race. She remains one of the best Grand Prix Migros competitors of all time: in total, the World Cup skier has won the premier ski race for children and youth five times, and has placed second once and third once.

    Practical Information:
    > On Sunday, March 28, the Crosets ski area will also host a second Swiss-Ski event: the Migros Ski Day.
    > No racing experience is required to participate in the Grand Prix Migros. The course is accessible to everyone (even skiers with little training).
    > All children under the age of 8 can participate in the Grand Prix Migros Minirace.
