  • This legendary route, which runs from the center of the village of Champéry to the summit of Croix-de-Culet, takes center stage in a challenging race open to everyone in a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. The route follows the magnificent and challenging hiking trails of Calvaire and the Esserts ridge, with an elevation gain of nearly 1,000 meters.

    > Finish: Planachaux, Croix de Culet, elevation 1,963 m
    > Distance: 6 km
    > Elevation gain: 930 m
    > Categories: Runners (participants aged 14 and older are allowed to take part in
    the main race, with parental consent) /

    Mini-Grimpée Race:
    > Start: 2:15 PM, Champéry, Couvert de Broisin, elevation 1,055 m
    > Finish: In front of the Hôtel National.
    > Distance: 900 m
    > Elevation gain: 35m
    > Age groups: 2020–2024

    La Grimpée des Grand Champs Race:
    > Start: 2:05 p.m., Champéry, Couvert de Broisin, elevation 1,055m
    > Finish: In front of the Hôtel National.
    > Distance: 1.8 km
    > Elevation gain: 60 m
    > Categories: 2016–2019

    La Grimpée de l’Aigle Race:
    > Start: 2:00 PM, Champéry, Couvert de Broisin, elevation 1,055 m
    > Finish: In front of the Hôtel National.
    > Distance: 3.9 km
    > Elevation gain: 205 m
    > Categories: 2013–2015
  • Rates
    > Runners and walkers: CHF 30.-
    Registration includes participation in the race, a souvenir prize, transport of a change of clothes, return by cable car, and a meal following the awards ceremony.
    On-site registration is available for an additional CHF 10.-

    > Youth: CHF 5.-
    Registration for youth races is available only on-site on the day of the event. Each participant receives a commemorative medal.

    All competitors must read these rules (found below) and, by registering, agree to abide by them.
