This lovely loop hike from Morgins takes you to the Buvette de Savolaire where you can enjoy a delicious meal and superb views of the Dents du Midi and the Vaud Alps.

Morgins - Madzé - Savolaire - Champarin - Morgins
From the bottom of the Morgins cable car, walk up alongside the Kuhstall chalet (Bar Chez Marie) and behind it, taking the wide path which climbs slightly on your left.
A little further on, at the crossroads, you can choose the direction of the loop:
- Recommended direction: If you prefer to start with the steepest part, turn right towards Madzé and follow a steep path in the forest. At the cross in the clearing, continue climb...Morgins - Madzé - Savolaire - Champarin - Morgins

- Recommended direction: If you prefer to start with the steepest part, turn right towards Madzé and follow a steep path in the forest. At the cross in the clearing, continue climb straight ahead. At Madzé, take the small path on the left by the edge of the forest which leads to the Buvette de Savolaire. From there, head back down following the direction of Champarin, passing to the right of two chalets, first on a wide path and then through the pasture, while enjoying the view of the Illiez Valley. From Champarin to Morgins, follow the wide path back to your starting point.
- If you prefer a gentler climb uphill at the beginning and don't mind a steep path downhill at the end (beware: the path can be stony and slippery), at the crossroads you can take the loop in the opposite direction.
