Soap box race

The town of La Chapelle d’Abondance will host the soapbox derby, which promises to be both spectacular and fun.

For this event, the Crêt-Béni chairlift will be open. Admission: €3 per person—free for children under 12.

We invite everyone who’s up for it—residents, vacationers, organizations, families, or groups of friends—to start building their soapbox cars right away.

Original, creative, fast, or completely off-the-wall… your soapbox car can take any form! The important thing is to participate and share in the festive atmosphere of this fun-filled race.

Now’s the time to break out your tools, let your imagination run wild, and get your race car ready to hit the track on July 26.
