From La Chapelle d'Abondance, take the La Panthiaz gondola to reach the summit of the gondola, the starting point of the route. Here, enjoy the panoramic view over the valley of Abondance, we can see the villages of Châtel, the Chapel of Abundance and Abundance. You will then continue on a relatively flat trail towards Châtel through the chalets of Barbossine, then the place called "Tenne". You are almost there in the village of Châtel.
