Its mission is to make classical music accessible to everyone through a diverse program and numerous cultural initiatives. With its “New Worlds” program, the orchestra invites the audience on a musical journey through America. This repertoire brings together works by Samuel Barber, Philip Glass, Florence Price, Antonín Dvořák, and Aaron Copland. Blending emotion, folklore, minimalism, and African-American influences, this program showcases the richness and diversity of the New World’s soundscapes, from the late 19th century to the present day.
