  • A nice walk to admire the lake of Montriond and the Chablais Range.

  • The foothpath sets off from the Avoriaz Plateau with quite a step climb (70m uphill) up onto the Avoriaz ridge. Then you will take the following chairlifts: the Lindarets one in downhill and then the Chaux Fleurie one to go up and reach the ridge.
    1-Walk up on the path on your left toward "la tête des Lindarets". You will discover there a magnificent view (Mont de Grange, Dents-Blanches, Hauts-Forts, Avoriaz and Mont Blanc)
    2-Keep walking straight going down on the path toward the "Col de...

    1-Walk up on the path on your left toward "la tête des Lindarets". You will discover there a magnificent view (Mont de Grange, Dents-Blanches, Hauts-Forts, Avoriaz and Mont Blanc)
    2-Keep walking straight going down on the path toward the "Col de Bassachaux" across the "Voroches" (local name for alder) the rhododendron and the blueberries. Don't walk on the MTB track which cross your path.
    3-At the "Col de Bassachaux" turn around and take the GR5 (large flat path) toward the "Lac Vert". Enjoy the beautiful view over the Montriond lake on your right. Turn left at the first junction toward "Crêtes des Rochassons". Then you can come back to Avoriaz thanks to the same lifts (down Chaux Fleurie and up Lindarets lift).

    Don't forget to buy your skipass to take the lifts or to bring your Multi-Pass.
